PDX Roof Broker is a referral and comparison service that helps homeowners in the Portland, Oregon metro area and surrounding communities compare roof replacement options from participating local roofing contractors. Information we collect
When you submit a roof questionnaire, we collect the details you provide: your first and last name, property address, city, state, and ZIP; whether you are the homeowner or authorized to make decisions about the property; your roof's estimated age and condition, including any leaks, skylights, and ventilation notes; your desired roof lifespan, the importance of a contractor workmanship warranty, your payment and financing preferences, and your project timeline. To follow up with you, we also collect your phone number, email address, preferred callback day and time, your availability for an early call, and your consent to be contacted. During the follow-up call we may take additional notes about your roof and project goals.
How we use your information
We use your information to contact you about your request, verify your roof details over a short call, prepare estimated roof replacement options, and coordinate with participating contractors. We use your contact preferences to schedule that call. We do not perform roofing installation ourselves and we do not represent that we compare every contractor in the market.
Sharing with participating contractors
After we have spoken with you and you are ready to move forward, we may share relevant project details (such as property address, roof condition, and your stated preferences) — but not sensitive financing information like a credit-score range — with one or more participating contractors so they can prepare an estimated option. Contractors are initially presented anonymously as Contractor A, B, and C; their identities are shared before an inspection is confirmed. You may decline to have your details shared with any contractor by telling our team during or after the call.
